The Iron King (Harlequin Teen)

The Iron King - Julie Kagawa Fairy awesomeness to a whole new level!

I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book and it did not disappoint.

Meaghan is a strong-willed girl who does not give up even though she's treated like a dog because of the fact that she's Oberon's halfling daughter. Titania was a total bitch, unlike the other versions I've read where she was nice/okay.

The winter prince though, Ash (?), just had smexiness written all over. Cold princes are THE BOMB. He was one of them. I knew he'd warm up to Meaghan however, I mean, who wouldn't? A prince's cold heart can't stay frozen forever.

The basis of the idea is like Wondrous Strange, that also focusses on Oberon and Titania and a girl who is Oberon's daughter, but I had compared both books in the end and they were rather different.
The Iron King however has a lot of promise, a very interesting setting/plot/characters, and the way the story unwraps is just pleasing.

Can't wait to read the next book. I can tell things between Meaghan and the winter prince will be heating up, and tensions will build and romance will just flare.
